Represented by: Mrs. Hayat Meshreky Deputy: Mrs. Mary Francis The ministry started in 1971 after it was approved by the heads of the different evangelical denominations and the late Rev. Elias Makar president of the Evangelical Council at that time. The Slogan: “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. (Galatians 2:20) The Mission: 1- Spiritual growth and training women to serve others. 2- Create a loving relationship between the women of different denominations to accept one another in spite of their different doctrines. Encourage the women to open up and reach out other denominations. 3- Allowing every woman to take her right place and to carryout her suitable role in church. 4- The union focuses on the prayer groups in all denominations as the only way to grow and to be blessed. The Activities: 1- Holding spiritual meetings and prayer groups for all denominations once or twice every month. 2 - Delivering the message for all Christians by distributing the Holy Bible and tapes of the recorded Holy Bible as well as inviting them to the nearest church. 3- Caring for social work through periodical visits to orphans in Cairo, Assiut and other places. 4- Organizing trips and fairs to encourage the spirit of unity. 5- Participating in women’s conferences and in various events. |
