The international ministry (University of the Family) was established in 1983. It has reached over 95 nations and its courses have been translated into 33 languages. In Egypt the ministry has reached over 1200 families in 8 different governorates as well as Sudan, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Aim: 1. The establishment of strong marriages and families to manifest the peace and power of God. 2. The training of couples with the vision to teach other couples. 3. Encouraging Christian families to be active in their local churches. Activities: 1. Courses based on the Bible are taught in small groups. These include: - “Married for Life”: A fourteen weeks course for married couples to improve their marriage. - “One for Life”: A nine weeks course for engaged couples. - “Parents for Life”: A ten weeks course for bringing up children who will make a better generation. 2. Arranging conferences and meetings that focus on marriage and family. |
