Prisons ministry was established in 1992 by visiting the prison of women, in El Kanater El Khayria for which the Lord has sent Mrs. Rita El Wahsh. In 1996, a group of women gathered to work in this ministry.

The Ministry Aim:  Delivering God’s love to the imprisoned women and introducing God’s promises to them by encouraging them to read the Bible.

 The Activities:
- Visiting the imprisoned women once or twice a month, listening to their problems and presenting spiritual advice to them.
- Working on strengthening the relationship between the imprisoned woman and her family, and also offering financial support to her family.
- Presenting God’s love to imprisoned mothers through providing for their babies’ needs of food & medicine.
- The ministry implemented many projects, in order to relief the imprisoned women, by installing ceiling fans, solar & electrical heaters, water coolers in all prison chambers…We also established a clinic for Ophthalmic  and heart diseased women in the prison's hospital.
- Also provided all the chambers of men’s prison in El Kanater with water coolers, and built shoes factory for men in both El Kanater & Abu Zaabal prisons.

All the previous projects have been established through God's grace and the financial support of companies, individuals and churches to the ministry.
